The Catch
The prerequisites are mandatory, not recommended, and the vendor warns ePHI must not appear in meeting titles or calendar invites, which is exactly where clinical teams put patient names.
If Your Staff Use It
Calendar hygiene is the immediate risk, even before transcript content. Audit meeting titles first.
One person connects it once and stops thinking about it. After that the notetaker follows the schedule into rooms full of people who were never asked, which is why the second question after meeting titles is whose account is connected. The exposure travels on someone else's connected account. The prerequisite checklist has no column for whose.
